Tell us what event you have planned and we will promote it via our socials and on this page!
Small Business Matters is a movement created to celebrate and recognise the contribution small businesses make to Western Australia. To do this we want to promote your event that you are hosting.
Co-founder of Small Business Matters, Ms Nicolle Jenkins said it’s important to raise the awareness of the role the small business sector plays in creating a healthy and sustainable economy.
“Small businesses constantly fly under the radar, because we are spread across WA. We operate across all industries and are out there getting the job done. Due to this diversity we often don’t have a united voice.”
“This Small Business Day is a great way to let people know of the importance their local small business plays in the WA economy.”
“When a small business disappears you have reduced competition, less product diversity, less money going back in Western Australia, less support for your community, and fewer jobs.”
Latest statistics from the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) demonstrate the significant impact the small business sector provides to the state.
“Every time we spend our money, we are casting a vote for the kind of world we want.”
Small Business Matters has created a range of materials and posters for small businesses to put up in their window.
Email Nicolle nicolle@thehub.net.au and let us know if your event – and we will also send you the download link to the materials.
